I have a problem with one of my displays. The top segment (A) is out on all digits. The guide says to replace Q13 and the chip. I did that, but its still not fixed. I also tried it in other connectors and its the same result, so its not a connector. What else can I check???

Yup, it has good connection. I'm still puzzled on this one. Any other suggestions?

I still need help on this question.
I have good connection from the ic pin# 9 over to Q13 transistor, which belongs to the top segments (a). The lead coming from the glass to the board shows good connection to this transistor as well.
