Thanks, I will look closer at the connections when I get home tonight.
It seems odd its a bad connection though as the game scores correctly and appears to play fine.
I am a total noob on this era of pinball - is there a resource to cross reference the error that is being displayed?

That is supposed to be the high score to date. You have one display that is causing the other digits to disappear. #1 is probably ok as you say it plays/scores good.
probably need to re-flow all your displays and try re-seating the connectors.
