    Quoted from KenLayton:

    To further confuse things:
There were several colors of those plastic coin bins: black, white, and red-brown over the years.

I’ve seen black ones in old Stern’s mainly and the white ones I’ve gotten were in Gottliebs and Williams. They’re hard to find.

    Quoted from MrBally:

Find a route operator and walk into their shop. They may have a stack of them. The operator I worked for removed them as both chutes were for quarters so we did not need them. They made handy bins for parts in the shop or service tech vehicles. The 3 chute doors had SBA Dollar coin chutes in the middle which went unused. Even if a few strays made it in, The coin counter/wrap machines just let the SBA coins stay in the bowl.

As Mr Bally suggested, I’ve gotten most of mine from Operators when buying stuff from them and they gave me them for free. Most of them were shocked, “you want these old junk bins??”

It would be nice to know which came standard with what.
