Zipper Flippers (resized).png
#1 3 years ago

Hi, I have to rebuild the flippers on my 1970 Trail Drive, which has Zipper Flippers. I can't find a good simple schematic showing all the part numbers, however on Marco's website, they show one, with all the parts numbered, but they don't have a list of those numbers for me to get parts from. It also doesn't cover all of the flipper parts themselves. Does anyone of you Pinball World Wise people have one they could pass on so I can rebuild this (also my The Wiggler (not Zippers, but same flipper type) and a few other of my older machines). Marcos picture included.
Thanks again chaps.

That picture is from the parts manual, which is available on PPS's website. But most of the parts aren't available anyway. I'd just go to PBR's site and look at their rebuilt kits for that year to get the standard parts that are readily available

I sourced the nylon washers that go between item 11 and the base. Mine were so dirty and beat up. Let me know via PM if you want any of the info.

For flipper coils, stops, cranks, springs, bushings, etc., I used a Pinball Resource kit.

that pic shows a different type of close flipper coil and open flipper coil arrangement that I am familiar with ( I'm guessing from Medusa )

#the-wiggler also has zipper flippers

They only seem to do parts for Gottlieb and not much back to 65 and 67. Thanks.

Looks like I better get myself an account and buy some schematics. Cheers
