I have a 5x8 enclosed trailer. I only use it a couple times a year, basically bringing games to shows. The crappy rings it came with failed this trip and my games were sliding all over the place. Luckily nothing was damaged. I was peeking in all the trailers at the show to get some ideas. Looks like just about everyone is using E Track. I'm looking for some advice on what brands are good, what accessories I'll need, what height to mount them at, etc. One person I talked to said to stay away from the Harbor Freight stuff and he preferred the click in O rings. I'm not looking for anything super fancy because I don't use it often, but I don't want it to be a pin every time either. Thanks!

I mount the e track half way from ceiling to floor. I already had a bunch of 2" wide military surplus ratchets so i use these exact same rings to attach them to the track. I've hauled with this setup for years now on my trailers without anything failing so far.

Another option (or supplementary option): a load brace bar wrapped in a pool noodle or blanket.

I put Etrack in my 5x8 a couple of years ago and use it the same as you would. Highly recommend Etrack; best investment I could I gotten.

I used Uline Etrack and it wasn't the cheap bendy china crap... although it might have still been from china.

I got the zinc-plated so that if chipped it won't rust as bad as the powdercoated stuff.

I got the following as it was a 20pack and it was rated for 6000lbs, and can handle anything I threw at them:

    Finally, I got this bag:

because it was cheap to hold that 20pack of E-track Drings and also holds ratchet straps from Harbor Freight.

Well reviewed, I'm sure it's fine for my 2 trips a year.
