Hi, I'm helping my brother over the phone repair a Target Alpha that had something happen to the DX relay. I suggested he remove the switch stack one side at a time straighten the switches and put back into the switch actuator. But he is having difficulty ensuring they blades are in the correct position and he is not sure if there are any tricks in reassembly. He says the stack doesn't feel right when reassembling. Any one have clear pics of the DX relay from both sides, and some tips in reassembly? Thanks! Glenn

Looks like the two switches on the end should have their long blade one slot closer in to the body of the relay. As should the next one in with green and red.

A picture from the other side would help check the ones we can't see.

The manual or schematic will list the number of make, break, and make/break switches on the relay.

Yeah that what a thought and said to him too. But he is having problems visualizing it all together. And he says reassembling and tightening the screws and getting all the blades in the proper slot is difficult and doesn't make sense. BTW he is in the Phoenix area. Thanks!

This side looks like it should be (from the relay body out)

Gap, blade,. Gap, blade, gap, blade, gap, gap.

I made that mistake once-of taking them out. PITA. On this side, the long blade nearest the screws needs to go back one. I could only get to one side for a pic, but he should be able to apply to the other side.
