Bally, 1992My DW topper dome is cracked on the side from top to bottom, and it seems impossible to find one. Has any one used something else as a dome or created a different look to go with the Dalek?
Not sure what my options are at this point other than to just take it off, but then I still have the lights in front of the Dalek to deal with.
50th Anniversary show coming up in less than a week! 
Couldn't you remove the decal and rotate the crack to the back? I believe new decals are available for it or you could reuse the old one. They have not been reproduced so best bet would be someone that has parted one out.
I was thinking about trying to vacuum form one at home, but I think the sheet of plastic is too big to fit in my oven; not to mention I've never done vacuum forming before. I know there are a lot of plans for home vacuum forming, but I'd hate to do all that work only to find it's too big.
