Ok, odd question for you. My shooter seems really weak, and I'm not really sure whats going on. Funny thing is, this is the second D&D pin I've played with the same issue.

I have a new shooter rod with new plastic sleeve (housing? bushing... not sure what to call it) and am using a red spring which I understand is the strongest. New shooter tip rubber. When I pull back, the ball barely gets out of the shooter lane.

Everything feels smooth, but it seems like the strength isn't getting to the ball. What am I missing here?

The playfield has a little play in it so the shooter rod is hell to get adjusted. I have actually had to grind out a little wood from the cabinet to move the rod up high enough to hit the ball dead center. The other thing to look at is the rod itself seem to be pointing down a bit so if you sneak a washer behind the top of the shooter rod plate it can tip it back that millimeter or so it need to be perfect. You will know IMMEDIATELY when you get it right.

In the "strange place balls get stuck" category, it seems like every other game my ball gets stuck on the star rollover here. I've pulled out the old white rollover, cleaning the insert and replaced it with a new one, but doesn't seem to make a difference. The white star seems to go up and down with no effort, but the ball seems to catch the angle of the star just right.

Gets so frustrating, I usually need to power off the game to get the ball out.
