Hey guys

I'm in the ongoing process of restoring/shopping my Simpsons (DE),and I'm noticing a few instances of Duct Tape on the Playfield. We got the machine in the late 90's from a place in York,PA so I cant imagine Duct-Taping stuff is any good for the machine in terms of function or longevity. I want to use our Local Pinball Guy as an absolute last resort, but it's a constant learning experience doing it myself

Any ideas on how to approach it?

I would try naptha ( lighter fluid ) to try and soften it and start getting it up. Small spot, see what happens.

Some of the duct tape adhesives eat into things as they age and dry. So you may have some damage below it.
