So the drop targets on my Hollywood Heat do not reset once all knocked down during game play. They do all reset during start up and at the beginning of each new ball.

In running a diagnostic they following switches come up as closed. 40,41,60, and 61

See attached pictures...
I noticed under the playfield that it appears a wire may have been clipped on the center drop target on each set of targets.
Was wondering if someone could send me a picture of the underside of their drop targets if there is a wire there and where it runs to.

Well, is there no loose wire anywhere?

Reset during start up routine is good, you know your reset coil works, and all related bits in the boards.

I'm assuming game play doesn't require additional conditions to reset the bank, and it should immediately reset once all targets are down.

With the glass off, start a game. Knock down the targets one by one and see if any of them don't score. I'd bet you have a switch not closing / registering in one of the targets, so the game doesn't think the bank is finished yet.

Horizontal is the lower target bank, vertical pic is the upper. Looks like your missing wires are wrapped around the wire bundle.

Success! Thanks for the pics BoscoKid!
Wire just like the ones in your pics I found wrapped back around a bundle... dont know why??? I figured there was a reason they were removed so instead of breaking out the soldering iron and reattach them I used clip leads so I could test it... well it worked! Game is now fully functional! Sweet
Game was so boring without them resetting.

Well I'll run ot like this for a while and if things continue running smoothly I'll solder her up!

I would solder these before you go on. If you just have alligator clips and something comes loose, which is possible with the force of the targets being hit or reset, you could short the clip to something and have a whole new mess of problems. It takes 15 seconds to solder it back on, don't short cut it and regret it.
