Lots of bricking is solved by making sure you don't have the posts behind it too close or with too fat a rubber on it.

Specifically on flight 2000, with a CPR replacement PF, the 5 bank if the posts are installed using CPR's divots, they will brick.

Also make sure the shelf the drops reset on have a slight upward angle. One revision of Stern targets appears to be flat, which is not what you want. Those tend to brick, especially with non-original drops.
