Having some odd issues with a rottendog driver board in my Lord of the Rings. During the game (about two thirds of the way through), flippers die, the ball will drain and the game continues. It will show the next ball and the display and sounds keep going, but no ball gets kicked out, flippers remain dead, and lights stay on. I just shut it down and restarted it. No issues, game starts having no issues. I went into the test menu, and checked tech alerts, it showed all ok.

Seen this exact same problem on a couple of other threads but no real solution other than getting another stern driver rather than a Rottendog.

I attached a picture of the led that goes out on the board.

Is there a fix? I don't simply want to toss out a rottendog board that I spent good money on. Are there components that can be upgraded or changed to fix this board?

Attached is a pic of the led that goes out when coils die.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you!

Quoted from Borygard:

Try jumpering pin 3 to pin 4 on U218.
That will be the top two pins on the right side of U218 as it sits in the game...
