    Quoted from ForceFlow:

I recently built a lift jack to see if that would make things easier to set up games.
    Similar to this design: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/how-to-move-a-pinball-machine-alone/page/2#post-3845705
I tested it with a demolition man. Mechanically, everything worked well, but the only problem I had was that my drill couldn't seem to start raising the jack from the floor. I had to raise it manually with a socket wrench until I got about half way, then I could do the rest with my drill.
    I have a dewalt 20vmax brushless DCD777
If you use this lift jack system, what drill do you use. Or, what's the best way to determine if a new drill would be adequate for the task?

I use a small DeWalt impact driver for exactly this purpose and it doesn't even break a sweat

    Quoted from ForceFlow:

I have an old craftsman from the 80s. But corded is impractical here.

    What model?
    I spotted this (DCF840C2) for only $100:

I wasn't sure if it would do the trick or not.

I don't have it accessible at the moment, but it's similar to that if not exactly the same. It's a great impact driver all around. I use it all the time.

Given you built this lift I'm going to assume you're handy and don't mind spending a bit more for a quality tool that you'll use almost endlessly. That said, if youd rather pinch pennies a bit: https://www.harborfreight.com/20v-cordless-14-in-hex-compact-impact-driver-kit-with-15ah-battery-rapid-charger-and-bag-63528.html

Throw a 20% coupon at that (or more of you're ITC), assuming Bauer isn't on the exclusion list...Might not be a bad deal.

    Quoted from Chrizg:

My DCD771 20v is able to lift them off the ground using this lift setup. I wish the DCF610 12v would do it cause it is small and compact and awesome and I have to bring the 20v drill on purpose when setting up/tearing down games.[quoted image]

Ya my impact driver is 20V as well, similar to what he'd linked

Ya, it's a little heavy as well

For apples to apples when thinking about torque, this is what I'm using: https://www.harborfreight.com/2-1-2-half-ton-trailer-stabilizer-jack-96406.html
