I have my deadworld mod installed and it is working much better now that I have moved the crane optos over using spacers. I would say once in every 30 plays the game still loses track of balls. After watching closer as the balls are loaded and unloaded onto the deadworld ring, I noticed that the balls will fall short of the crane opto or the ball won't load correctly onto the ring and will roll off the right side of the deadworld. This is causing the game to lose track of the number of balls. I assume adjusting the crane slightly to the left will help with the opto issue, but has anyone had the issue with balls not correctly loading onto the ring?

I was thinking of bending the metal tab, that holds the ball for loading, in further.

Quoted from wizard_mode:

Hi, yes there is a process for adjusting the crane. Check it here: http://www.iobium.com/tuning_judge_dredd_for_the_locki.htm

Thanks for the info.

I have done all this, but on a rare occasion it will still fall off the crane. Maybe I need to try and adjust it more, or maybe it could be shaking the machine too much.

Quoted from altan:

By doing this you are disabling something (or somethings) that are connected to lamp columns 7 and 8. But I expect you've realized that.
I looked at the schematic for more info but it, unfortunately, says nothing is connected to J136 --- which appears to be wrong.

Now I am curious. I just did a quick check of my wiring, and I don't have anything plugged into J136

Quoted from Linkage:

Weird issue on my Judge. ONLY the dead world solenoid fires. Nothing else. Would this be a CPU issue? Power cycle and one out of 20 times it will work properly. Also I'm an idiot and broke my glass and not the translite. Who sells blank glass?
?

When you say dead world solenoid are you talking about the whole mechanism rotating? If so that is a motor. I would first check your fuses if all the solenoids are out.

Just wanted to put my feelers out there… I have a judge Dredd that is restorable but I could also part out if there is enough interest so if anyone needs parts inbox me and if I get enough interest I’ll just turn it into a parts machine

Are you willing to ship? I may be interested in a second machine.

Have you considered making and selling a batch or 2 of these? I would be first in line with cash in hand! That looks GREAT!!!

I second this. I would be down for a set of these reactors. They look amazing.

They look like screw on soldering tips.

Definitely soldering iron tips.

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

How do you attach the crane?
Joined the club last weekend and have been having lots of fun changing out rubbers, throwing in LEDs, the regular shop job stuff. Unfortuantely, as I put the playfield down to test things out I found the crane had fallen off. As I have never taken it off, I have no idea how to put it on, or even if it is missing parts. It was working just fine this morning when I played, I am merely trying to put it back together. I have looked at the manual and there is no reference on how to attach the crane. In any case, all help greatly appreciated.

There should be a set screw to hold the crane onto the rod
