Fixed! It was that damn single green wire connector. The previous owner must have left it disconnected. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Quoted from ChiTownPinHead:Annnnd I pulled the Pinstadiums! Lights were nice but couldn't keep them from falling and I'm concerned they're going to end up melting the plastics because they run HOT!
warm white trough light, two spot lights (one on each sling) and you're golden.
Just a +1 for DystopicPinball and @ragefactory. This is a quality piece and is SO much better than the plastic standups that were original with the game.
Need some help identifying the age/era of this topper.
I recently bought a garage full of parts from a 72 year old guy that was in the hobby in the late 90s. He used to get off route games and clean them up.
So I have lots of NOS stuff from back in the day.
I’m thinking this is what the original JD toppers were like.
It has shiny flecks in the plastic.
There’s also a slit in his beak and nostrils - must have to do with how they molded them.
The newer ones are mirrored looking.
Thanks for any input on this topper.

I don't have near the knowledge base as others here, but I believe that is an original piece. Not aftermarket. As well as the bracket for the piece.
Fantastic that you scored an entire garage full of parts! Judging from the size of your collection I'm sure some of it may come in handy. (really, you have 60+ machines?)
My Judge Dredd is missing a few pieces and just about every ramp in mine has an issue of some sort. By chance do you have any other Judge Dredd parts for sale? PM me if you do.

There are remake toppers in the dull gold but with the bracket attached it’s likely NOS.

We found a lot of misc small electronic parts (diodes, transistors, etc) - not exciting.
But there is some cool stuff like a complete MM castle / drawbridge mech. They used to sell them as a plug-and-play part. Undo 4 screws and the connectors, swap it out and you’re done! Decals and everything - crazy what that would cost today if anybody still made it.
I didn’t find any JD specific parts yet - I’ll post if I find anything.
And yes, the “My Collection” list is up to date . Some of the photos are out of date due to selling/buying and rearranging.
Not sure if I’ll sell this topper on Pinside or eBay. I’m not sure how to price it - so Pinside is hard for things like that and I don’t think Pinside likes people posting stuff about selling things other places.

Maybe the originals did have metal flake in them, can’t remember but I sold an original to Odin
Quoted from MadMaxDad:Thanks for any input on this topper.
The remakes are either a super shiny gold or almost a dull green with no shiny flecks. So butt ugly either you paint it or find an original. There were also remakes from years ago that are molded so bad, they don't belong on a machine.
Yours looks to be either painted or original.
I've seen a lot of variations. But at least one I had was original.
It's gotten so confusing, I'm not sure what I've got on my sample game now. Except a layer of dust. That I do know.
Quoted from kdunbar:Original or reproduction? Solid underneath
That is one of the repros. Not the super bad molded one, but an older one. Originals were very fragile and thin.
Hey Guys,
I just wanted to play a quick game and the ball would not enter shooter lane to be launched at START. The button makes the motorcycle engine sound and lights up. Is this the infamous ball trough issue? Also, the crane starts going nuts trying to find a lost ball. I guess first step is to clean the ball trough optos? I'm going to check tomorrow morning.
Thanks!

I will go through the following steps before reporting back:

Ball trough registers every ball. I took a video during solenoid test. Something wierd is happening with Dead World instead of activating the solenoids.
Flippers and ball launch are not working (during gameplay) either.
In switch test, sling switches slightly activate deadworld. Wierd.
All switches are recognized in the switch matrix when manually activated.
Replace one bad fuse (F111) on MPU board, but still no luck.
Ok, definitely related to coils and flashers since both are not working during solenoid and flasher tests. At least it's narrowed down a bit. Now I need to determine if the actual solenoids have correct voltage, and then move on to transistors. All fuses are good.
All switches are still activating in test mode, and single lamps light as well. I wonder if it's one solenoid that's messing this all up.
Update: All coils showing normal voltage. I'm thinking there is a bad transistor, or connectors needs to be reseated.
Quoted from Watkinsd13:durgee7 sound exactly like my dredd last night I wasn’t able to figure it out last night but will be looking into it this afternoon. I’ll post if I can find what’s going on with mine to see if that helps at all. Good luck!
Thanks, WatkinsD13! I just checked the Driver Board transistors on my Rottendog board using 10 amp DC multimeter test and several activate the deadworld and crane operation: Q44, Q46, Q50, Q54, Q56, Q58, Q64, Q66, Q68, Q70, Q78, Q80. None of the other boards activate the solenoids. I may need to do this check on boards within cabinet/under playfield.
Thanks!

It was the coin door switch all along! Previous owner replaced coin door, and that door does not close the high voltage switch. Damn, if only I had looked at that switch. Lesson learned.
Quoted from Watkinsd13:durgee7 man that’s awesome. If only we were all so lucky lol
So far, so good. There will be issues in the future, no doubt. I learn even when it's not necessary. Hope you get yours fixed soon. Let me know if you need any pics or other help.
The long-gone, hard to find Dark Judge flipper toppers are back on eBay right now. These are not mine, but I bought these from this seller before (who is a member here, sorry... forgot who). Anyway, they are nicely done and a great mod for a JD machine! Looks like 4 sets available as I post this, and according to the add, the last 4 sets he will ever make...

@devilsmuse, thank you for these awesome towers! One thing I didn't notice from the pictures was that the numbers protrude from the tower, such a great detail! There's a couple of other hand painted details I appreciated as well. There's a subtle shadow under the top rim of the tower, the hand painted cracks compliment the comic book drawings of the artwork. Well done!

Killborn, thanks so much for your feedback. I love seeing your Towers in the "wild". Yes the hardest part of making this mod are the raised numbers but I think its all worth it in the end when you turn JD on. You've got a really nice machine there. I got to say I'm liking your blue Deadworld dome. You have inspired me to look into doing that for my Judge Dredd....Play on
Quoted from Calfdemon:who is a member here, sorry... forgot who
Yeah it was me
I know i said previously i wasn't going to do more of these and i was going to stick to that! Not long after i sold all the last batch i was contacted by a member from here and, well, i procrastinated for 8 months before deciding to do another batch (after being contacted by a few guys locally also) As i mentioned to the member 8 months ago, it wasn't worth doing just 1 set, it's far easier to do a bunch of sets all in one hit. I made 8 sets in this batch and the 4 listed that are left will be IT!!
I'm working on a flipper topper set for another of my fav owned machines at the moment plus a bunch of other mods so wouldn't have the time to revisit these again. To be honest they have run their course and i'm just glad i was able to do the originals justice and give other JD lovers a chance at putting these flipper toppers on their machines!
Quoted from Mr_Frog:Soooo much better than what came with the game.

what pinblade art have you got in there?
Quoted from Kneissl:what pinblade art have you got in there?
One of these I’d assume
I was depressed a couple of days ago while playing my Judge Dredd. I noticed the ball was having trouble going across after climbing the left ramp. At first I thought my right flipper had weakened but looking a bit closer I found a big piece of metal and plastic lying in the trough. It took me a few seconds to realize that it was the right side entrance of the left ramp that had broken off and flipped up and into the trough.
Amazing that the ball could roll over it as well as it did.
IMG_20200606_135955_8 (resized).jpg
I knew it was cracked before but didn't realize how quickly it could fail.
Well, nothing that a bit of epoxy and fiberglass won't fix!
IMG_20200607_144257_1CS (resized).jpg
I let the fiberglass resin cure until yesterday to let the smell dissipate.
Going out to the mailbox I found a package that made my day, Davi's Crane Mod!
This was perfect timing as I was ready to install my newly repaired ramp.
The crane mod really is very well made and fits perfectly.
This is my first mod for JD and I don't think I could have picked a better one.
Thanks Davi

I guess that's pinball; broken machine one day then better than ever the next!
Quoted from Kneissl:what pinblade art have you got in there?
Couldn't tell you to be honest...they were there when I bought the game.
I just recieved my crane mod as well and it is above, in terms of quality, design and ease of instillation most pinball mods and, imho, a must for this game.
Dear modders: I would kill for a redesigned 'pursuit' sign. Just sayin.
Hi guys!
I bought this one for my JD:

No... Out of stock means really out of stock, not related to shop status.
In stock example:

There are pursuit plastics right here on Pinside and they are good quality. I bought a pair...

If anyone wants a set of these i'm willing to sell outside of Ebay for a slightly lower price (still using Paypal) BUT these last 4 sets will be the final lot!! welcome to PM me I'm working on my own design for my other fav machine Iron Maiden right now, along with various other projects. Always seems to be too many projects in mind and never enough time to do them all.

Mine arrived today! Are good, fit perfect, I used chrome decal not the original one, If it helps has a sticker on it with name: Pedretti

1 Set left and the only reason i would redo these again would be a significant number of requests!!. Absolutely not worth doing just 1 set at a time. I am NOT planning on doing more as my mod focus is definitely on other projects. Cheers and thanks to the guys who responded and glad you like them (those that have received in the mail so far)
Anyone know the height of Dredd including topper. I got a new place and my Dredd is in storage, want to check it will fit.
