Awesome!!! JD is such a good game.

Occasionally the ball is getting stuck behind the left vuk wire form near the top left flipper. Can someone snap a quick pick of what theirs looks like? I’m guessing I’m missing a plastic ?

I know it’s hard to tell, but that post should be under the plastic (on the side rail) and that’s supposed to give it a definite lean towards the play field.

Mine has a real lean too. It looks a little weird but it makes sense.

Pulled my JD off of route (over a year of heavy heavy play). It did very well and held up minus a coil off on a coil here and there, replaced coils, etc... needs new set of drop targets and signings. Totally debating where to operate it next...

I am really digging this game, the flow and layout are epic! I am babysitting JD for a friend of mine and I want to try and get it fixed up for him. Having an issue with a bad motor/gear box for Deadworld. I know Marco used to sell replacements? Anyone know who does rebuilds on enclosed Deadworld motor assembly? Thanks in advance

I actually have 3 pins on one sub via a cheap mixer.

Fortunately I have not yet had any issues with the deadworld motor assembly, thus I have not had to take it down and investigate or I would make comment. However, I know somewhere embedded in this thread are a few people that have made repairs on that. You may want to look through this thread and reach out to them. I'm sure you can find a assistant you looking for! Keep us posted on the restoration of the game!

No worries thanks, I actually am wondering if I make the fix-if I am going to like it. The previous owner disconnected the motor because it was burnt out and placed tape over entrance and disabled diverter. I have to say, the way it is set up right now makes it a flow monster. I want to get it working the right way, but I sure am enjoying the way it plays without the stop and go of the Deadworld.

So, during multiball, mine tends to shoot the balls straight down the middle. According to my level phone app, it appears to be pretty much level, side to side. At first I thought it might be bouncing off of the upper left flipper, but I'm not sure. Anyone else dealing with this?

Are the launching balls getting diverted by the upper left flipper?

I know Pinbits has been difficult to get a hold of. I can make Deadworld mods in any color (transparent, fluorescent, chrome, etc.). ROM chip included. PM me if interested.

How hard is a rebuild of drop target bank on JD?

Easy. Remove the springs carefully so they don't go flying. Clean with alcohol. I lightly used some sandpaper around the metal shafts the targets side down. Wax your targets. Make sure the hardware is all tight.

Trying to reduce airballs off the JUDGE drop targets. Any tips?
Was thinking of slightly bending the bank of targets forward a bit...

I'm really considering buying one, they are on the affordable side and are packed with modes, features, and cool things to do. My problem is all I remember from playing Dredd a decade ago was the music, a short loop that kept playing which was getting on my nerves at some points.

Are my memory correct ? Or is there more than one BGM in this game ?

You right that there is one main musical rock jam (its a good one, IMO, and I have not tired of it, for me), but that said, there is different music and sounds assigned to each of the modes (of which there are multiple) that kick on once initiated, so that adds a lot of audio variation throughout the game.

IIf you are thinking about picking one up, IMO you cant go wrong with this one. For me, i think this game is awesome. 4 flippers, 3 ramps (2 from lower flippers and 1 from upper flipper), inner and outer loop shots, subway (behind drops)>wireform, VUK (sniper tower)>wireform, 5 bank drop targets, captive ball shot, big spinning disc with magnetic crane, 8 main modes (i think), 4 mb "modes" (1 for each of the deadworld demons...and actually 5mb if you include the Blackout Mode) ...add to that some pretty funny audio and DMD clips and you got yourself one hell of a game that super fun and very addictive!!!
...i don't think ill ever get rid of mine.

I agree. It wasn't on my radar when I got the two I ran across, but now I think that one of them will be a permanent fixture in my lineup(unless Elvira 3 knocks it out).

Great time to do JUDGE stickers if you haven’t already!

I had to order new plastic that the drop drops reset and hook onto. Also, I ordered the new opto board as its $40 only.

Just rebuilt my Dredd drop targets and had to put a drop or two of Super Lube oil w. teflon on each one to get them to work properly. Typically don't use oil in my machines but was necessary here.

I did mine with the red drops on the outside and the yellow in the middle, I think it makes it pop better and easier to see what you are trying to hit.

I really like this stuff whenever I have to lube something up that typically doesn't need it. Great for Spinners also.

PinballPT’s inner art blades are easier with the playfield out. Tilt Graphics inner art is simple with the playfield still in

There is enough slack on the harness to pull the playfield out the front and lean it on the front of the cabinet. Its heavy and awkward but very possible. I did it by myself but recommended you have 2 people to get the pf out.

Side art is a must have on JD. And spotlights. It changes the whole look.

Not my file to give. My buddy is looking to sell a made cam to anyone in need, so he’s not interested in giving away his file.

I may be down to get one just to pigeon hole away in case the need ever arises. My cam is working fine right now but I know these parts wear and wouldnt hurt to have a spare on hand with my extra parts.

Just picked up a JD along with a DM for my ‘Superpin’ collection.

I’ve got a gold plated topper coming( old mustard one was long gone), alternate cab art and alternate translite.

Just ebay’d up a chrome crane mod.

Will be chrome plating the habitrails and not sure on trim. Would like the deadworld mod, I pm’d Dudah.

Any other ideas to take my girl to her next level?

Got subs for every pin, already got art blades coming, as old ones are torn up.

Hey gang, Dudah needs interest in the Deadworld mod. Pinbits is out of stock and not answering emails, and I would love a transparent one! Fluorescents look good, but being able to see all the artwork underneath would be great.

Would score a sniper tower mod. Easy install, well constructed and looks awesome, IMO. Fella that makes them delivers it fast to you with your choice of color and follows this thread ( Medisinyl ).
Other than that, some side blade art from Pingraffix, and with the above, sounds like you'll have a hell of a game!
