It would be so much nicer to scroll through the forum frontpage and be able to drain topics right off the bat. A some examples would be game speculation threads, best/worst ever threads or good/bad for pinball threads. Sometimes you see a topic and are like "No. Just. . . . no". Perhaps even save a little drama in the forum? Sorry mods, I don't think you can ever have one of these (no matter how badly you want one ).

Maybe a little button next to the unread asterisk?

On the forum page on the right-hand side click on 'Batch' with a + sign next to it, select threads to drain and then click on the 'Drain Selected' button. Be sure to click on 'Exit Batch Edit' when done. Using this method you do not have to open a thread to drain it.

Is there a way to do this with more than 10 threads at a time? Batch edit restricts to 10, and it would be handy to be able to drain more than that at a single time.

I usually just - out some sub forums and then just venture in there a couple times a month.

This works to an extent, but the 10 per drain limit makes it difficult to efficiently eliminate stuff you're not that interested in. Any idea why the 10 per drain limit exists?
