It's really very rare for someone to impersonate someone else and/or intentionally mislead people with pinball news.

Misrepresentation, brand confusion, trademark infringement, copyright infringement....

It's not generally worth their (or their lawer's) time to come after someone doing a personal project, or the optics that would go along with the attention from doing that. Technically, you're not in the clear unless you actually have a license agreement.
