When I was putting my F14 back together that I bought disassembled, a friend loaned me his machine that he had taken in on a trade. I needed to see how some of the through playfield wires were attached. Anyway, the wire colors were the same but different. For example, the wires on one game were light blue with a red stripe and on the other dark blue with a red stripe. They both were correct, but that was a bit confusing at first. Maybe that, and bad lighting are the reason.
