Hey everyone. As we all know dr who is a great game but the weak point is the mini playfield brackets. If they are weak bent or worn it really hampers the game from playing 'right' and they are as of now NLA. BUT have faith....

In talks with the powers that be on getting the main mini playfield brackets remade for dr who.
A-15036 and A-15037. They would have to be sold for around 50 US dollars each and we need a minimum of 60 buyers of both brackets to make it feasible. As you can imagine there is a layout of cash up front to get them done.

I may be interested

The part that is missing most is the reset fly target bracket.
I have worked on two Doctor Whos that had that part missing.
The assembly is available but it is only an incomplete assembly.

Would you be remaking the rollers that slide inside the bracket too?

hey Vec-tor part number? Anything can be remade if there is enough interest.

The main mini playfield brackets are always worn and sloppy , loose or bent beyond proper repair and NLA so went with these first.

I will see if we can get the roller bushings done as well.

A few years back someone made rollers from UHMW Plastic. I was sad that did not get more play, but he only made 4-5 sets.

O.K. I had to do some research.
1) A-15355 "bracket door release assembly" (Marco has, incomplete)
-- Part No. found only under unique game parts.
-- Metal bracket part only available no plastic roller or "E"clip.
2) pg 1-52 "picture documentation" ("Door Release Bracket")
3) It is an associated part that is badly documented.

hey Vec tor check the PPS manuals online. The main blue yellow and red catalogs have many unlisted parts all documented so you can get the part numbers you desire for all the individual parts.

And hey faz! Yes we should pursue making them or re-making them out of nylon or delrin or something naturally self lubricating and slippery, shame that other fella did not make more for sure.
I will ask the powers that be. If they cannot be done I think pinbits could get them done.

They make awesome unbreakable stuff for road show and rudy heads. Mine have not broken since putting their delrin eye pieces in even after thousands of games.
Stay tuned. Hope we can get lots of interest in these brackets. Every dr who should have a spare set along with spare bushings.

Bump.. Sure hope there is more interest in the brackets than there is in this thread. cricket...cricket....

Love to get these done. Even new reproduction originals are better than the worn stuff everyone has.

I'd be interested but what price point? Mine seem to be in ok shape but since it's a known weak point of the game, I'd buy for backup purposes

Me too, but all depending on price point.

as per my original post above. They would have to be sold for 50 bucks each and we would need 60 committed buyers for each pair so 100 per person.

#13 3 years ago

I'd be interested in the main brackets, but mine aren't to bad.

I am missing the target reset bracket though

Sorry, hahaha... I passed right over the price. I'd be interested at $100 for a set.

I will see about the target trip bracket as well. Stay tuned friends.

Marco has the bracket (although that seems kinda pricy).

Get any roller to trip the Daleks. It needs to be 3/4" by 3/4"... nylon should be fine.
