Quoted from bk2futr:

Got to Mixmaster fixed. The big plastic nut worked its way backwards but did not look loose when I looked at it yesterday but found that it did work its way backwards and therefore the table was down too low. Thanks for the help! Still looking for the issue with the flipper and magnet

is the flipper staying up when flipped?did did you check the eos switch and see if the contact blades are adjusted properly?

ok,this sounds more of an electrical problem than mechinacal..Are there any dioides on that flipper coil?

Quoted from bk2futr:

Diodes are there as you can see in these pics...

yes there is and it is possible that one of those diodes is bad,you can test those diodes with a meter.but your first pic is showing a white wire way to close to the metal and your second pic is showing the middle lug of the coil a wire is off and going down into other wires.and you can see a wire was soldered on that middle lug, theres solder build up on the middle lug.

ok,yes thats a much better pic, everything looks correct in order.i would suspect one or more diodes on any of these 3 coils, the 2 flipper coils and the one coil for the magnet has to be bad/shorted.to test those diodes you would have to remove one leg of the diode and test with a meter set on diode setting.do you know to test them?

ok,thats fine if theres no diodes on the magnet coil, but there are diodes on the flipper coils test those diodes.also look in the manual and see if the flippers, magnet are in the same row in the switch matrix chart

Quoted from gutz:

For the (non flipper) coil diodes, iirc, they are on the driver board

right,on Auxulliary board
