What beggars belief is that the other guys at DP aren't trying to communicate with Phil to sort out this mess. The longer they leave it the worse it gets.

Always difficult to know a full story but what seems clear is that Phil left the company 6 weeks ago. Why on earth does he have access to all these funds? No business would allow an ex employee to have access to anything - let alone money!

This cannot be his fault, it is not his responsibility once he has left.

Really, only time will tell if all the pre-order companies are anything more than Ponzi type schemes in the way that they finance.

Whatever anyone thinks about Stern they are the only pinball company with a proven track record and profitability built on real sales of real pinballs ( as they say! ).

The truth is out there - somewhere

One thing that is clear is that Phil is fighting a serious illness and is extremely stressed. I guess we won't hear both sides of the story.

Clearly lots of mistakes were made.

Difference here is that we heard about them 'live'. I suspect there are other horror stories in other pinball companies. We just don't get to hear about them.

At the very least they should do a special topper or something that would eventually be collectable and cool.
