This whole situation is tragic, but not completely unexpected. Pinball development, manufacturing, and sales is a very challenging business with small margins, an even smaller customer base, and an tncredibly fickle audience. When Stern told Jersey Jack that this was going to be a tough road, he was absolutely spot on. More than one group of intelligent people have failed in this business. My perspective is this: as the owner of pins from 3 different manufactures (soon to be 4 if TH ever arrives), I am honestly grateful people are willing to put their heart and soul into this business. I love the product, even when it breaks down periodically and even if the sound isn't just perfect. For me, the lesson is that the next time JJP misses a dead line or Stern puts out a game that isn't up to everyone's expectations, CHILLAX!!! At least they have been delivering games.
