Quoted from Phil-DP-USA:

Because a lawyer sucks more money out of DP USA and DP BV

..Dude.

I don't know if you're the bad guy or the good guy and I frankly don't care. But I know how works from now on.. and if you don't get a lawyer asap you can get sued for things you didn't even know existed.

Get it togheter, stop posting, call a lawyer, cure yourself.

Has anybody started a Cliff notes version of this thread for people who were out of town all weekend???

Funny thing is that if everybody asks for a refund, they'll no longer have funds and collapse.

They're doom'd anyway.

#1285 9 years ago
Quoted from sturner:

They could acquire a loan or bring in investors like just about every other business in the world does.
Funding your business with pre-orders is a recipe for disaster.

You know which is another recipe for disaster? Start asking for loans and investors while the boat is sinking.

This is not even funny anymore. It's a tragedy.

This is the spot where people who are still in, try to sell their pre-order at 50-70% of the price in order to get out quite safely.

Will this time catching the falling knife be a smart move?

Quoted from swf127:

And if you have someone offer you their TBL for 50 cents on the dollar, that might be a deal worth taking. However, while refunds are being issued I'd expect that to be a long shot.
Corporate registration has been updated in Wyoming as someone said. Barry and Jaap are now the two officers of Dutch Pinball USA.

I wouldn't even buy at 1/10th.. No way I'm buying it at half.

Quoted from swf127:

What's my down side at that price? If I lose 900 bucks.. oh well. If it gets made, I get a pin that's worth 10x what I paid. If only 10 of them get made, then I have the next BBB. Sounds like an overwhelming amount of upside to me.

If for you risking 900 bucks is not that big deal, you already did the math.
I'm sure that people who are in, right now, are starting to do the math too

As I already said: good luck with your falling knife.

Quoted from YKpinballer:

He wanted out, and if the other 2 owners didn't agree that the company was in trouble, they would have been happy to take his 33% at no cost to themselves. Instead they tried to keep him on the hook for his share against his will. That alone should make the customers with preorders nervous.

O.. M.. G..

#1519 9 years ago
Quoted from the_one:

My question is how they are able to fully refund the money to each pre order due to they invested much money from this pre orders to build BoP 2.0 and the TBL prototypes, going to various shows / conventions, etc ?!

That is the question.

Quoted from frolic:

We're starting to see a trend with a lot of these companies; they're focused on the product, the design, engineering, artistry, but most of them are lacking real business leadership.

Internet is the motor and Kickstarter the fuel.
Add a little hype for fascinating ideas and a viral video for a free ad campaign..
95% of the time there's a big mess.

And It's Gone! - funny South Park video ... but does not apply in this situation.
