I'm still in and could not care less about the money I've already put into this project.
But I do have two payments left to make and currently I'm hesitent to make the third that is due on the 31th.
So it better get solved by then, as I may have to pull the plug otherwise, as many have already done before me...

Yes, some that payed recently via Paypal have gotten a refund and may be happy.
But in general this behaviour endangered the whole TBL project much more than the whole licensing stuff and whatever Baary/Jaap were doing.
This also means that IF the DP ship should sink now, many more (potential) customers will be in jeopardy than Phil may have "saved" with his actions.

So no, I am not happy with his actions, though I see why he did it.
It's just that he also did it on the back of many customers and fans of DP.

No of course not.
Only US citizens(?) with paypal payments from within the last couple months got a refund.
Foreigners or everyone else was safe from the actions of Phil.

The email did not strike me this way - they just layed out the situation as it is and as Phil himself already told so.
He is the one in control of the original Paypal account and has no intention of giving that to Barry or Jaap, till the DP USA ownership is dealt with.
So they 're stuck with him doing the refunds as these have to come from the very same account all the people payed into.

Sure, they could have left that "Phil is in charge" out, and told us a lie or something else why the progress of the refunds are beeing stalled.
But at the moment they cannot do anything themself in this regard, so why promise anything?

Just made my third payment, I never had a doubt that the pin does not get made.
Though we may see it not before Q3 or Q4 2015....

And the fact that without any preorders, this machine would most likely never ever get built at all, so even the potential buyers of a finshed product would never get any TBL for their money.
