I know it’s been asked before, for the sake of argument what pin has more staying power?
Are we saying the code is completely done on both without anything glaring wrong? Now that Lyman is gone is that a concern with Elvira?

Elvira plays really easy so if you're remotely competent you will have grown tired of it the first day unless you set it really hard with tight tilt and open outlanes etc. You'll reach the end pretty soon anyway and getting there feels a little of a grind fest. I think Lyman is the GOAT but come on, shooting the house more and more times to start a mode (unless you finish yeah yeah) is some of the laziest coding ever.
Deadpool isn't my favourite, I prefer all of Elwins games, but I'm always exited to play one and the shots feel rewarding especially the Katana shot, you feel like a million dollars every time you make it.
DP is the more interesting shooter. Elvira is the one you turn on after 8 beers when you're starting to suck on the others but you don't want to go to bed yet. Which also makes it the better choice if most of the people who'll be playing it are casual players. Not putting it down, it's a real fun machine and being a big B/horror movie fan goes a long way, it just isn't a game you wrestle with, if that matters.
I love them both, and like mentioned above the shots in DP are so rewarding! If you are willing to get a DP pro you also save a lot of money. Who am I kidding with used prices and delays…I have had a NIB DP Pro on order since June/July, someday (he said looking off into the middle distance). I had to look for the confirmation email the other day to prove to myself that I didn’t just dream ordering it.
I prefer the shots on DP but they’re both great. Two of the best looking games Stern has made. I lean DP mainly because I had an LE and I miss that game something fierce. They both have a campy lighthearted feel that I love that’s been missing for the most part since the Bally/Williams days. Disco loops is one of my favorite modes ever. Disco ball and rollerskates!
Seems like DP has the edge.
I am leaning towards DP slightly because it seems to have a more interesting layout.
Pretty close choices. Whichever theme excites you. DP is a complete and glorious cartoon experience. EHOH is a phantasmagorical journey into bad dad films. You can’t go wrong with either.

Thanks for the reply, I see it's your top rated pin. Just curious how much do you prefer the premium over the pro?
I am getting BM66 which has a lot of standup targets so I was thinking maybe the drops on DP would be a good differentiation for DP if I do get it as well.

Gun to my head, I prefer DP. I had XMLE which had some of these characters (DP, Wolverine etc.), am a big Marvel comic fan so while I also like Elvira B-movie theme it's not as good to me as DP.
DP I went with pro. I love the disco loop on premium but for a few shots a game, the pro scratched the itch. I am amazed in a good way by the final callouts and music.
EHOH I went premium. Good looking pin and I can powder coat the hardware to my liking. The topper is good to have ....
I'd say dp. But elvira is harder to find. So get it while you can. This is very 50/50
If layout is important for you, go dp. Toys and theme= elvira is better
IMO Deadpool has
A+ music animations and call outs
B layout: it certainly has some unique shots but I don’t like the right ramp being a lock shot all the time, kills flow outside of multiball. Snkitd is very cool but so hard to get that I never found myself actually going for it during games
C code: there isn’t much to do other than activate modes via a scoop which to me is annoying. The three battles over and over feel repetitive
Both are excellent games and both are very hard to find right now without paying an arm and a leg, especially Elvira.
I ordered a DP Premium, as I've always enjoyed playing any form of DP that I've ever played (which includes a Pro and LE). I do want an EHOH. I really do, as I love almost everything about it. The one thing that has put me off on EHOH, is that it seems to shoot really easy for me, which I'm sure would lead to really long games. There's a lot to see in a long game in EHOH, but I'm pretty sure I'd start avoiding it due to the longer game times, and then I'd only end up playing it when I knew I had up to an hour or possibly more to devote to it, which is seldom.
