That's pretty shitty of he ditched you and only answered your friends call rather than yours.
Hope he makes it right to you.

The facility isn't scheduled to start production till April so no building makes sense.

Quoted from Underspin:

I'm wondering if any of the permission and licensing issues with Polygram were ever resolved? I've read bits and pieces...problems with the original score and music, artwork, call outs, a notoriously difficult John Goodman and the use of his likeness, etc. It was essentially a laundry list of problems that Phil was working on when he left. If those issues were never resolved how on Earth could this pin go into production anyway? Or will TBL (eventually) come out as some bastardized "Back to the Future with unrecognizable Marty" version of what was presented in Chicago?

Actually I believe all those issues have been addressed.
Cabinet and Playfield have both been approved as well as Goodman's call outs and the music.

They did bring in Roger Sharpe

Wonder what Phil's doing?

Quoted from Deaconblooze:

SadSack, aka, Mayor of Wolf Lick

Got to love a town that can have a Mayor and a Village idiot as the same person.

Quoted from kbliznick:

Wow, you really need to reread the missing pages if this is what you think happened (not talking about the seminar just to be clear, I wasn't there).
DP is (was) three people, with Phil being one of the three, not an employee, but an owner. He wasn't given the boot, he tried to quit due to serious illness (Cancer) and they did not want to deal with him leaving as he had a large equity stake in the company and/or other reasons.

That's not quite right

Phil was/is a 1/3 owner of Dutch Pinball USA, which is the US base for taking money and shipping US games. The game is being produced by Dutch Pinball BV which Phil owns 0% of.

The problem is Dutch Pinball USA has a paypal account with a shit ton of money that only Phil had/has access to. I don't know what's changed since December but my guess is since customers have NOT been refunded yet that, that account with a shit ton of money in it is not in control of Dutch Pinball DV.
I don't know if Phil is holding on to that account as long as he can to pay back DP for getting the boot or if the account is on hold during a transfer of ownership (could take months) or if Barry and Jaap already have the money.

What I do believe is that Barry is passionate about making the game and I believe he will get it done and the end result will be awesome.
