Quoted from TigerLaw:Well, at least WOOLY wouldn't have licensing issues, since it was all in the public domain it seems. One less hurdle.
Just once I want to see an independently successful person who knows how to run a business and has a track record for doing it start one of these pin companies . . .
Well Spooky seems to be the only ones to really have their act together. What they should really do, IMO, is build pins for other people with ideas. They do manufacturing and JPOP or anyone else with a great design works with them.
Quoted from Aurich:Well you won't catch me putting any money down on it!
The biggest failure in pinball pre-orders is yet to come. The model failed due to intentional abuse or a complete lack of understanding how hard it is to make pinball machines. In in the future if you feel like gambling throw your money on a roulette table 00. Your odds of success are better.
(Aurich, the you is not you. It's anyone who preorders again. I quoted you as I agree.)
Quoted from frolic:Of all the pre-order machines out there, they are still ongoing and none have failed yet. At some point there will be a catastrophic disaster leaving many people out of money.
My point is I believe that day is closer than you think.
