Quoted from kvan99:Yes...this is a crazy. One more important thing the $8500 Hobbit/WOZECLE price tag cannot be used as a comparison to Dialed-In, the 8.56k is the real LE loaded models on those games, the Dialed-In LE is $12,500...so let's not confuse the 9K price with those games.
Exactly right! Also, BM66 has consistently been marketed as a special 30th Anniversary pin, hence the low production numbers and no pro, despite Sterns other terrible mistakes of their own marketing and pricing this pin. I don't think that scheme will be repeated with Aerosmith.
For me, I'm sour with JJP on this game because of how amateurish the whole thing has been. From reveal, to game title, to 6,999 LEs not to mention the CLEs, and the shocking prices for something unlicensed and without a licensed speech package that is clearly a game focused more for routes than collectors. Who has routes where they can get a return on investment for this game? The whole thing is such a fail that many folks are rationalizing with ideas for a new title to save it, or trying to sell themselves and others that the game play alone can save this monstrosity. I don't think it will and that'll sadly have bad repercussions for the pin community.
Now, back to the Iceman show.
