An original theme needs to be exciting. There is nothing exciting about phones.
You'd think he'd have learned from Road Show.

Quoted from TheLaw:There is serious shit talking in here from people that own games like hook, SWE1, Transformers movie etc...these are all horrible or beyond horrible themes.
What's one thing all those themes have in common?
You know exactly what to expect. Hook is a terrible theme, but you know what it's about. SWE1 should have been a good theme but the movie is terrible and JPOPs game is awful. Transformers is a great theme and a bleh game.
"Dialed In" doesn't tell me anything. What's it about, cellphones? How is that exciting or interesting? It's "Toaster The Pinball".
That's the issue - the name does not tell me anything about the game or what to expect, so it's a bad title.
Here's another one for you - Demolition Man.
Should be a good theme, but the terrible art and gruel-thin plot really turns people off. However, the game is gangbusters, easily one of my favourites.
But it's not an A-List game, no matter how much fun it is, because *the theme ruins it*. Dialed In could be the most amazing game ever but that title and the confusing theme are going to sink it.
Change it now while you still have time.
