I might buy a Dialed In later if there is a $7k standard version, and they re-theme it to a less lame-looking version. The latter is likely as they've done this several times e.g. with WOZ and of course 'Black Arrow' Hobbit recently.

The pricing is the main issue, ditto for Stern. I can afford it, but choose not to pay it. These tables with pins on have become rather expensive, have they not?

From a UK/non-US perspective, it would also be good if the manufacturers could do something to reduce costs for foreign buyers. We have an import/sales tax of 20%+ here in Europe! To be blunt, I refuse to pay these prices. £12,500 (our SLE price) is $16k, which just so happens to be what I paid for Jpop's sodding MG!

Currently, I'm much more likely to drive to Wales and pick up an Alien Particularly at Andrew's less greedy prices.

I think Jack is back-tracking with his talk of the Standard $7k-ish version in the JJP email list. However, I respect him for this, and think it is very smart. After all, he wants to sell machines and not have a failed product on his hands.

IMO he should also do a Black Arrow-type re-theme so the machine looks less lame. I really feel the fundamentals of the game- PF layout etc- are strong. It's just some of the 'emphases' that need changing. And please, Jack, focus group this with your customers. Thankfully, you do listen to your customers, and should do so urgently for DI, IMO. This situation can be retrieved.
