I'm currently down sizing my line up to 5 games. Lotr, tron, Wh20 and afm are all staying. What should my final spot be? I was thinking Mmr?

    #2 5 years ago

    I would consider
MMr, WoZ, ACDC Premium, Star Trek, TZ... or an earlier pin (Centaur or Medusa).

Would consider a widebody for a change of pace.

Yep, go with TZ or IJ...

Go cheap and keep Whirlwind from your current collection as number five.
Or go big and add BBB in that fifth spot. Everybody is getting MMr these days.

ST with the new code is a truly amazing game.

That being said do you want deep or brutal?

Deep, then the above ST is a great choice. Brutal.....can't beat IM.

Widebody? My vote would be STTNG. (And no I'm not a Trekkie.....I just think they are great playing pins).

    #8 5 years ago

IM, Met, MMR, or Centaur if you want something old school.

IJ and sttng have always peak my interest, I love the themes. Acdc came and left, couldn't really get into the game

    What about CV?

    #11 5 years ago

Well just my humble opinion but I think your first thought (MMr) is miles better than CV. CV is a good game and I enjoy playing it from time to time but it wouldn't make my top 25 list.

I have a TZ FS if you're interested pm me. Allentown delivery available

MMr or Whirlwind. I shouldn't have sold mine, so I'm just speaking out of nostalgia's sake.

    You have the following covered
LOTR > deep and immersion in theme
    Tron > brutally fast
    Wh2o > rampy
AFM > fan layout bash the center

To me you are clearly missing the beauty of a system 11 or atleast a sys11 stlye of play.

I would higher suggest something like BK2K, Wwind, FH, or if you only do DMD then FT would fit the need for something that can offer a great short ball time with more camp humor.

Aside from system 11, I would look to something GTB 80B catergory as they can play very much like sys11 with much better sounds. Also woudl offer the feel of something besides B/W or Stern feel.

    ACDC Premium..

Addams family, or bride of Pinbot

Or buy the latest and greatest pin, keep trying them till you find a keeper

    #18 5 years ago

    AMH while you can.

    #19 5 years ago

I have a WW, but it's been folded up for about 8 months now. Probably should bust it out and see if the love is still there.

    #20 5 years ago

You need a good System 11 game. My vote would be Whirlwind.

Something newer? Go with Star Trek or AMH.

MMR is a great game, but you will find it very similar to AFM in a small collection.

You have a LOT of games on your wishlist. I would say if 5 is your space limit then you should sell everything currently on its back/wrapped up and then slot #5 should be the rotation slot. use that slot to bring in a new game every 6 months to keep the colleciton fresh.

    #23 5 years ago

I think Whysnow has a great idea. Use it to rotate things in and out. Personally, I love CV and Monster Bash, so I would consider those as well.

If you want to stick with DMD games, I'd get something different (not a typical Fan Layout).

IMO: CFTBL, Shadow or Scared Stiff
