Did you take the job managing the FB account like you had stated prior? Because if you did you owe it to pinside to state you are now the man behind the page.

I am wondering if previous bans will be lifted. I was banned when I asked if they were going to update code on TF...

Some of them should be deleted, frankly. Stern's Facebook page doesn't need to host every nasty comment someone feels like leaving.

I don't see how he's obligated to do anything. If Stern is doing better at managing their page, its good news for everyone that posts there.

Because he told me he was considering taken the job of their fb pr person. If he did indeed take it I think he owes it to the community of pinside to let us know he is handling shit. Would be strange if he kept it secret from us. Double sided coin and all.

I am not behind the Stern facebook page. I would like to be, at least in part, and that may happen down the road.

I can tell you with certainty, that Jody exclusively manages the page as of 3/20/15. As Stern continues to grow and expand, as they have rapidly been doing, it would not be surprising for Stern to bring in additional help as Jody's plate gets more and more filled with tasks.

Do we really need "full disclosure" laws here? We are a forum, probably 80% of what is posted here is personal opinion or conjecture. This is not a professional or public company that requires us to declare conflicts of interest . If Jared works for anyone-good on him. If he spreads rumors, so be it. Most of us are grown up enough to form our opinions, ignore things we don't like, and sort through the nonsense.
I also say well done Stern for a good change of direction. It's their website, and they can delete what they want-they are running a business.

I was banned several years ago.
I contacted them and kindly asked to be unbanned and apologized for being a penis on their facebook. When they kept asking "Are you and autobot or decepticon?" I kept saying I'm a Tin Man.
They immediately lifted my ban and all has been well ever since.
Once you realize, it is the front of their company in this new world, I can understand where anything more than moderate criticism gets you banned from speaking.
There's forums to bitch about things and you can always press the contact link on the webpage to voice your concerns. Public facebook posts aren't always the best way to make a point.

I just didnt want the chance of like someone here pretending to NOT be a Stern employee. Turns out He is not. I just wanted to know if he took the job. Its all good in the hood.

pretty classless on the moderators part to give you a ban. when an individual specifically tells you to quote them, said message is no longer private. I have said it before and I'll say it again here now. most of the moderators are fantastic; a few have no business being moderators. regardless of what pinside rules are when someone instigates by insisting that a private message become public, then said message is no longer private.
