ITunes has been a disaster for quite some time. I still love my apple products *despite* iTunes, certainly not because of it.

The simple truth of the matter is that Mac's do not get viruses anywhere remotely close to what happens with PCs. My daughter has a PC in her room. We run anti virus software. She has had 3 major viruses in a little more than a year. I had one virus on my Mac in 10 years which was completely my fault as I opened a stupid file on an email that I had no business opening.
I will never go back to a PC.

I still have my iPhone 5s, and the reason I won't upgrade is because of the above.
At a minimum I will wait until the iPhone 8, but I am prepared for sticker shock, especially since there is no longer subsidized (contract) plans for the phone.
