Quoted from westofrome:I think a lot of the good vibes around this game are about how lighthearted, non-violent, and just plain goofy the theme is. So many themes these days are based on properties that are all about violence, epic battles, self-serious world-saving, even the music pins are heavy on death and hell. Nice to have something fun and light. Ghostbusters is also benefiting from this - sure, it's more epic, but it's based on a silly comedy.
Dude, this is so true, I couldn't have said it better myself. My number one reason for wanting a Mustang pinball machine is that I'm a lifelong Mustang fan(have 2 '69's and a '68 currently and have had a couple others in the past), but my number two reason is because it's just a fun theme. No ogres, no magic, no pirates, no zombies, no blood, no caskets, no tongues, no death, no hell, no impending doom, none of that stuff. Sometimes, those games just feel a bit too "heavy". I'm not saying that I don't like those games or that I'll never play them(because the opposite is true), but I'll probably never own one of them. I have other, more fun games I'd rather spend my money on before any of those games.
This Domino's title(and it's price point) looks VERY promising, but like all games for me, I've got to play it first to see if I like it. Then, I'll consider a future purchase. But it does look like it's going to b quite goofy and fun!
