Oh I wanted to comment, something charlie said at SFGE (there's a video posted by 904zine). Something about how a dominos pizza employee was in the hospital, and corporate covered their medical expenses beyond insurance. I don't like eating unhealthy, but we find ourselves occasionally ordering from there (in reality, there's far worse pizzas to eat, though I wish they hadn't gotten rid of their tuscan pizza). I respect companies that take care of their employees like that.

Whoever buys this should order pizza and show the delivery guys.

Carryout special (large 3-topping, $7.99) plus a couple games while it bakes for a ten spot? No brainer! Shame I don't think there are any stores near me large enough to have one on location.

That is how I first got into pinball. Every Friday night we'd go to pick up a pizza and I'd play pinball while we waited.

Now I'm hooked on pinball AND pizza.

This delivery guy might not be impressed, judging by his vehicle.

This kid might not be impressed either.

... but the rest of us are. Looking forward to pics and video.

odds are the delivery guy won't even know what a pinball machine is.

#157 7 years ago

I forgot...is there going to be a limited number and that's it?...or are they going to continue making them as long as there's a demand...

#158 7 years ago

I am starting to feel like buying one to put on route.

I think a lot of the good vibes around this game are about how lighthearted, non-violent, and just plain goofy the theme is. So many themes these days are based on properties that are all about violence, epic battles, self-serious world-saving, even the music pins are heavy on death and hell. Nice to have something fun and light. Ghostbusters is also benefiting from this - sure, it's more epic, but it's based on a silly comedy.

That's the point, at least he can relate to the theme.

"Hey, while you're here... check out what I've got in the basement!"

Yeah, that'll go well... poor kid will either think he's starring in an impromptu porno or gonna have to put the lotion on the skin, lest he get the hose again.

Dude, this is so true, I couldn't have said it better myself. My number one reason for wanting a Mustang pinball machine is that I'm a lifelong Mustang fan(have 2 '69's and a '68 currently and have had a couple others in the past), but my number two reason is because it's just a fun theme. No ogres, no magic, no pirates, no zombies, no blood, no caskets, no tongues, no death, no hell, no impending doom, none of that stuff. Sometimes, those games just feel a bit too "heavy". I'm not saying that I don't like those games or that I'll never play them(because the opposite is true), but I'll probably never own one of them. I have other, more fun games I'd rather spend my money on before any of those games.

This Domino's title(and it's price point) looks VERY promising, but like all games for me, I've got to play it first to see if I like it. Then, I'll consider a future purchase. But it does look like it's going to b quite goofy and fun!

Yea, I'm in the same boat. Only the small Domino locations near me. I really want to play this game though.

I can't say i've ever seen a "large" dominos. What qualifies as a large one and where are they?

#171 7 years ago

You haven't been to this one yet have you?

Is tonight the big reveal? Wooo can't wait to see the full game!

#173 7 years ago

Adam,
Looking forward to the reveal and video on this. I know this is way premature to ask but would it be possible as games are ordered for a list of store locations that plan/or will have them? I am sure there are a number of us that would love to see/play one and that may help folks find one to play.

100%. I will hunt down a dominos and go to it that has one at their store.

spinner on the wireform, looking good

cool feature, something of a first.

They probably decided to spite us and our complaints about no spinner on Rob Zombie by putting spinners on every shot in Domino's.

#179 7 years ago

Wonder if Dominos will have the pinball in their commercials as well. This would be a help in the marketing.

#180 7 years ago

Just want to say that if any Domino's near me had one of these. I would go every day!!!

What a great idea.

Also they should have a Championship Pub in every Weatherspoons.

#181 7 years ago

Pics any hour now, pretty excited.

#182 7 years ago

Can't wait for them.

#183 7 years ago

subscribed to get to photos. This is awesome all around.

It would be so cool if Domino's would advertise their pinball machines to draw in more people. Would benefit both domino's and pinball.

So what time is the reveal?

#185 7 years ago

The reveal will be later this evening, around 7:00 Eastern, give or take. Set up is still underway for Domino's World Wide Rally in Vegas and once the machine is ready to go at the booth, it will be unveiled!

Thanks for hanging in there folks! Just a little longer...

#186 7 years ago

Charlie is getting closer to Vegas with the game and we are all ready in the booth with our TV stand, custom t-shirts (pic on back is playfield art so no full reveal of the shirt yet) and stress balls. Pics as soon as we get set up and then video as soon as possible. The video will be a single Logitech webcam so I'll try to get playfield and DMD if possible but you won't get to see my ugly mug. Maybe we can also get some video on the giant screen across from our booth. That would be sweet.

I live by myself. Eating food before it goes bad is a major challenge.

Hope you like it. Pizza so cheap they pour the fat and salt around the edge to give it some flavor. Yuck! Local pizzerias are usually better. In Eustis fl, you've got Papa Joes(not Papa Johns) in Lake Mary, Niki Dees in Umatilla and Tony's in Deland.
