Gottlieb always solders a short bare wire between the bushings of the wipers that are supposed to be connected together. That way, when a jumper breaks off from a wiper, you can use the short wires on the bushings as a guide to show you where the replacement jumpers need to go.
In the pic in posting #3, you can see that on the right side, there are a group of three wipers and that there is a short bare wire connected from the right-side bushing to the middle bushing of that group. So that indicates to me that there is a jumper broken off, and missing, between those two wipers.
