Love it. Darwin looks like a mix of my two mutts!

I said the same thing to my wife..long lost cousins

Please take this as more of an advocacy for mutts than a knock on pure breeds

Quoted from QuarterGrabber:

I couldn't even watch the whole thing. Total uneducated, unfounded nonsense. There isn't a single fact in that video. I think it was made as a joke not as scientific fact. Great Danes were found carved into the hieroglyphics of ancient Egyptian pyramids, last 100 years my ass. ALL Bulldogs have hip dysplasia, every one, sure............NOT. Stupidest video ever!

Look I don't want to get into a big thing here but yes it is a fact most "pure breeds" have health problems.

If it is the "ALL bulldogs have hip dysplasia" that you have a problem with then fine it's not all, but about 99% that have some degree of hip or knee problems.

And the "Great Danes" of ancient Egypt would probably bear only a slight resemblance to the what we call a Great Dane today.

Anyway, my real point is that so called mutts can really make great pets and tend to have less health problems.

Can we please get back to the cool thread of people posting pics of their beloved best friends?

Yes we can!

This is what Darwin looks like when he falls asleep on his mouth

Our little guy is terrified of loud noises especially fireworks and thunder. He starts to pant and tremble during all thunderstorms. We've tried using a thunder shirt, xanax prescribed by the vet, building him a little tent home to hide in but nothing seems to work other than taking him into the basement and playing pinball. He lays under the machines and after about 10-20 minutes he calms down.
