Always my favorite breed. Your dog is magnificent.
Quoted from bob_e:Emma Jean passed away this morning. She loved going for rides and to the Ann Arbor Pinball Museum.
I'm sorry.

A boy and his dog, that's authentic Americana right there.
You should have that photo made into a painting.
Quoted from Who-Dey:Well we Finally adopted a Basset Hound, he’s about 3-4 years old they think, and he was a stray that got put in the doggy jail by the dog catcher. I can’t get any good pics yet because he’s so excited to be out of the dog pound that he won’t sit still hardly lol. He’s a good boy and beautiful though. We feel very lucky to have found him......meet Jake!
Nice looking dog, congrats.
Quoted from dontfeed:Rubble enjoying the fresh snow.
Nice, what kind of dog is he?
Quoted from Who-Dey:Nothing wrong with that and it also depends on what kind of furniture you have too. If you have leather furniture animals will destroy it.
God bless you guys with shedding dogs. I could never handle that.
Parts of this thread are just heart wrenching.
When you lose a dog, do you think it is best to get another right away or is it better to wait for a period of time? I waited almost 23 years between poodles which probably sounds insane to most people, but I didn’t want to bring in another dog until I knew I was mentally ready to give the new pooch 100%. It also helped that my wife and children really wanted a dog and are very persistent.
