Quoted from yzfguy:That's the hardest pet decision to make, and the least selfish. You did right by her to not let her suffer. ❤️
Well said, toughest decision of all dog owners who love their friend.
Prayers sent
This isn’t an easy post for me, but feel I need to share.
After struggling to eat for past week took Magnum my English Lab to the vet, and found he had a tumor the size of a basketball in his stomach. He had been to the vet 3 month prior for annual check up, healthy12 year old lab.
We had to put him to slept, family was there to say good bye. This one is tough, due to COVID we spent every day all day together for past 2 years.
Looking back on last month he just didn’t seem the same less active.
Great loyal friend will be missed.
Appreciate all the kind words about Magnum.
A funny story about Magnum.
When we were looking to get a dog we planned on getting Magnum sister, this was prior to seeing the dogs, but when we saw both dogs the female went into a corner and wanted nothing to do with us. Scared I assume. Magnum was total opposite jumping around excited to see us. It was an easy choice, Magnum was for us.
Sorry to hear about Dewey, thoughts to both you and your wife.
Dogs are Big part of the family, always there to welcome you back home, or understand you emotions.
Quoted from electricsquirrel:Funny how such a small person can leave such a huge void when they're gone.
I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.
