Sometimes at work I run into homeowners pets, or they run into me..yesterday I met Winston, a 2 year old cocker spaniel..
I tried this chewbacca costume on my boy Sammy last week..sadly it’s a lil to small..
So watched the movie’ the art of racing in the rain’ last night w the g friend. Not a bad movie, but gotta admit, left a lump in my throat ..I’d recommend it to all dog lovers..they simply are the best...here’s my boy Sammy, he turns 4 in a few weeks..

She helps out with the less fortunate and homeless. She felt that she needed to bring him home and take him to a vet. After some vaccinations and an ear cleaning, he was just to much energy for her (she’s 71) I was the 1st person to show interest, and after talking w her for about 15-20 minutes, I had a chance to meet Ollie after work. He’s estimated to be 8-9 months old Maltese/shih tzu? I know that he’ll be loved n spoiled..
Ollie has been a new member of my family for just over a week. Sammy has been great w him, and even thou Ollie wakes me up early by licking my face, I wouldn’t change a thing

LTG : )
I’m pretty weak n give in Lloyd..they usually have a lil taste of what I’m about to eat before I dive in! Plus, they’re both good plate lickers (pre dishwashers) lol
Quoted from Colsond3:My pup Kevin is waiting for me to fire up some games...or protecting my three vampire pins from the sunlight.

What Kevin is probably thinking is what game is Colsond bringing into this area this weekend..
Quoted from zr11990:Well I want to use this thread to say goodby to Lucy. Lucy was rescued from the street about 8 years ago and has survive to auto encounters and broken jaws knees and cancer. Her cancer is back and the vet says it’s time. I can’t be there because I am at my sons college graduation. This is her memorial

Sorry to hear about Lucy, but I’m sure that you gave her the best life that you could. And congrats to your son
Quoted from Lostcause:Just an update if anyone is interested to know what happened to my dog, he was put down today. Classed as very dangerous.
He fought until the end and now he can rest in peace, a horrible day.
Upside my other dog seems happy and can relax now also, she can sleep inside the house instead of going out to the kennels at night.
That’s her looking at me.
RIP Zeus. [quoted image]
Sorry to hear the news. Had to of been a very tough decision. Cherish the good times/memories that you had w him, those last forever
When I found my boy Sammy 5 years ago (of all places on kijiji) it stated that he had 3 legs..apparently born like this. He has 4 legs, but he’s missing the paw..more like a stump. But he does everything a normal dog does, he’s a fast runner, and I wouldn’t change a thing about him
Quoted from pinster68:Lost our little boy Dexter today. Absolutely crushed. Rest In Peace my little friend. June 23, 2010 - February 4, 2022.
[quoted image]
I’m sorry to hear this as well..

Adorable looking dogs..my boys have harnesses, a lil easier on the dogs I reckon.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Yea it looks tight on Matilda...sometimes then don't adjust when the leash is slack. I'm constantly adjusting them on the walk. Still prefer then over the harness though.
Your dogs are a lot bigger then mine..

Quoted from Zartan:Completely agree! Our government has banned them now. It really sucks!
U forgot your province and hockey team too!
Quoted from mostater:Cute pics! What breed of dog are Ollie and Sammy?
I find that the older I get, the smaller the dog I adopt becomes. This breed might be in my future!
Sammy is a Maltese, he was my 1st dog. Ollie, I’m not sure what breed he is. The wife n I guess that he’s maybe a cross of shih tzu/Maltese, or multipoo or..doesn’t really matter, as they’re both loved n spoiled immensely
Quoted from ralphs007:Now here's a true fan. He still wears his eagles shirt even though they lost.
[quoted image]
Sammy is a chiefs fan!
IMG_1118 (resized).jpegI saw this dog crossing the street several times this morning, and I quickly grabbed him. There was no collar, tags, or tattoo in the ears. I didn’t want to see him get hit by a vehicle, so I brought him in to the vacant house I was working in. Called the spca, and left my name n address I was at. The owner, and pet conservation guy showed up and got the dog to the owner-after telling him that he needs a liscense within a week..hopefully he does the right thing for the dog..
IMG_5661 (resized).jpegIMG_5662 (resized).jpegIMG_5664 (resized).jpegQuoted from Atari_Daze:Thank you for looking our for him!
Thanks. I just couldn’t think of just watching him run in the streets w cars n not reacting. I’d like to think that we’d all do the same thing for dogs-cuz they’re the best
