Have started having some behavioral issues with our recently adopted pup. He comes to work with me every day. Just recently started growling and viciously snapping at random people. It has happened 5 times in the past 3weeks. Can't figure out what is trigger g him. I don't know what do to with him. I can't have this happen any more. He's otherwise a great little pooch.
My dog has issues. He loves me and my family, but gets puffy and growls at other people, even people he knows. I don't think its a real aggressive growling as he will growl then a couple seconds later, lick peoples hands and wag his tail. He will even bring toys for people to play tug/fetch with him, but doesn't like people touching him.
It's a pain because he comes to work with me everyday. I tell people, when they come in the door, just to ignore him and generally all is well. But, there's close interaction so his weird behavior happens multiple times per day.
I got him when he was about 1yr old from a rescue, so I don't know his history. I think he is a really good dog, I don't know if he's protective or just not trusting of people.
Has anyone tried CBD oil on their dog? I'm wondering if it may help his "anxiety"? I texted our vet this morning to get his opinion.
