Yes, when it rains our one chihuahua poops under the pins the other one always poops in our bathroom. Our Red Fox lab loves being outside in the rain. She rolls around in puddles then comes in looking like a chocolate lab!
I don’t have pictures but when we first got our Lab, we brought her to my brother in law’s house. He has a creek beside his house. We took her off the leash and the first thing she did was dive in!
“You’re killing me smalls” I still use that quote at least once a week!
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Looks like Hercules from the movie 'The Sandlot.'
I had a Pitbull years ago. She was one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever had but She was super destructive when we left her alone. We had purchased leather furniture. When we got home one of the couches was destroyed. So the breeder told us to use Cayenne pepper on the remaining furniture. All the cayenne pepper did was add seasoning!
My Pit died around 10 years ago. The way we stopped her from getting at the furniture was putting up a baby gate at either end of the hallway. When we left we just closed her into the area. When she stopped eating her beds we started slowly (an hour at a time) leaving her alone in the house. She eventually stopped eating everything. We also gave her a very large walk, and a Kong treat ball just before we left so she would just sleep or focus on the treat until we got home. Took a while but she was eventually broken of it. I did crate train the lab I have now. She free roams now that she has grown out of the puppy stage.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Crate train them. That’s what we do. Our dogs are always in a crate when we are gone.
That’s an awesome story!
Quoted from Lostcause:Just seen this story, so much love for our dogs.
