I was around a German Shepard puppy all day. A friend that I help with construction jobs brought his new puppy to work, and I had to help keep it safe on the job.

I love dogs!

I am still not ready for another dog myself though.

Anyway, here is a picture of Bella:

What a beauty! I miss my husky babies. One loved the snow and you couldn't drag her in, but her brother thought snow was a punshiment. I took him back country skiing once and he had a fit. They were wonderful dogs and I miss them, but they had good lives.

This one loves the snow and napping outside when its cold, but hates the rain and really hates baths.

You could repost that picture weekly and I would never tire of seeing it.

Huskies are really fun dogs, always up to something when they aren't sleeping. During a big snow storm a couple years ago, I got this mid-yawn after she was running around the yard for awhile.

This was my husky boy a few months before he passed away from an aggressive cancer. He had lost one blue eye to cancer, and we didn't know that he was also getting it in his bones.

He was such a happy, loving dog. I miss him constantly.

Almost stood on this guy today at the park .
The wife screamed " snake " and ran away .
I looked down and the snake was about 2 feet away .
Edit - after some research , I found out it's a tiger snake , luckily it's only the second most venomous snake in the world , only beaten by the eastern brown snake which our park is also full of , fun times

Well guys didn't ever think I'd do it but a very young cat got inside my fence and lucky she and my dog plain just hit it off. Well I came out next day and there she was again and once again they started playing together so I thought what the hell and have adopted them. Took her to the vet and he says she's about 6 months old we got her spayed etc, and the rest is history. I guess my Toby boy misses my Yorkie Nikki who recently passed and just needed a friend either way she's here to stay now. I couldn't have left her anyway to fend on her own

I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post. Harley turned 14 in January! He's doing great but has definitely slowed down a lot. I'm really enjoying these years as he has become the best couch buddy. Here's a couple update shots including some of the funnier ways he's found to do what old bois do best (sleep). It's crazy how fast time goes. Doesn't feel like he's been with us that long. Heck, Brittany will be 9 in May and in my brain she's still my puppy!271199581_10158726864026814_1542321036892529422_n (resized).jpg271058210_10158727053721814_3328536673895272568_n (resized).jpg271167043_10158726864111814_2103547365500259221_n (resized).jpg273299812_10158792998711814_1852486867279199308_n (resized).jpg

That's the hardest pet decision to make, and the least selfish. You did right by her to not let her suffer. ❤️

Asked my niece to send me a picture of my old boy Redd when I was in college. I remember taking this picture with a disposable camera, back when you had to actually develop film still

My niece has the picture in a frame, so it's pretty glarey.

I sure miss him.

Was visiting my sister and 90yr old mother this week in California. Helping them with various family affairs and household chores and helping with tax preparations. Here is photo of my sisters 17yr old mini doxie named Rosie. She is toothless and blind, the dog that is not my sis.
