thoughts are with you ... went through this in November !
all though we have rehomed a new to us dog , you never forget what an impact these little furry beings make on us !
One thing I have learnt recently which helps in ANY depressed or sad situations is to learn
GRATITUDE
When you are grateful for what you have and have had you find inner peace and happiness.
Seriously, it sounded sort of guru shit, but try it at any time and you WILL feel better
Thank you Maggie for the fantastic pic your Dad put on Pinside.

Thank you so much for that.
If you ever have the misfortune of finding yourself in NJ, please come over for a drink and some pinball.
Warm day here for the time of year, 17c/63f when it should be half that! Nice warm southerly breeze coming from the sea, it felt good. Plenty of other dog walkers about, we are a happy bunch
Recharge ready for drinking and pinball tonight.

Sounds like a hot summers day for you guys
Quoted from JT-Pinball:That’s a damn good looking heeler. Looks a lot like mine. Smart as all get out. All day long is a game of out whit! How old? Female?
She's 15 months old, blue heeler mixed with rat terrier. Very smart, a bit smaller than a purebred cattle dog. From research I have done, this cross seems to be one of the latest "designer dog" mixes done to get a mini version of a cattle dog. We rescued her a couple of months ago.

Found out yesterday that she has lung cancer and the vet gives it a few weeks/maybe months she is 12 1/2 so I won't be putting her thru chemo and all that, she has meds to help keep her comfortable until we have to make the hardest decision. It really sucks, she had an operation last year to remove a cyst on her hip, and had recovered so well. Life can be cruel for sure.

That sucks man. Dogs are family. Prayers Maggie's way.
My Zeus is over 13 and having issues too. Back legs and mobility. Hate the thought of the inevitable. He still likes to watch football with me though And even though it was difficult we brought him to VT last week.....with his and Maya's bed of course

Im sorry.
Our baby Brussels Griffon Roona turned 4 weeks today, her and her sister have been hand nursed since day one and are thriving and starting to eat solid food. As long as their health progresses as normal she should be with us by the first week of December.

Thanks....nothing for me or the wife though. All the focus was on Diesel.
I didn't want to be a Debbie downer with all these cute pics, but we also said goodbye to our Maggie recently. Absolutely sucks.

I feel your pain bro.
To really be a part of this thread , you have to ride the lows with the highs and it can be very upsetting but the highs outweigh the lows , so it makes it worth it .
Quoted from screaminr:I received a package from PinMonk today , he must have made a ham sandwich before he packed it , because Doug really wanted to eat the box
[quoted image]
He was just excited to get it in the machine and was helping with the packaging.

Yep, as tough as it can be you are right.

Isn't that the truth!

I had to put a bin in front of my house for packages because my younger one was mutilating them.
