Nice clear skies!!! Beautiful! But damn, you are a doppelgänger of a guy that I’ve known half my life. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw your pic. Crazy!

Funny I’ve heard that before.

You two out on the Cumberland? Some mighty good spotted and largemouth bass fishing on that lake.

Old forge, NY.
Quoted from screaminr:Doug is such a filthy Pig , we had to make him go in the Creek after he rolled in Shit
[quoted image]
I would rather they rolled in shit and not eat it like this little turd burglar and the big black shit factory behind him

2 weeks with the cone of shame for poor Oscar. ⚾️✂️⚾️☹️

My sister in law just bought her guy one of these soft cones and swears by it. At the very least it seems more comfortable to sleep in.

I used to have that exact ashtray.

Yeah, the cone to the back of the calves is brutal after a while. I found running a strip of electrical tape over the edge of the cone helped in a couple of ways.
1. It was slightly less sharp into the back of my legs
2. Maxwell seemed to be able to judge better when it wasn't going to fit through a doorway or something

Wow , big black looks so much like Doug it's not funny .
And I busted Daisy eating Wallaby poo on our walk today
They sell blow up cones, they look more like a donut that works pretty well. My dog was spayed a few weeks ago but never bothered her stitches so I never put a cone on her.

We used the same blow up donut on our old lab. She looked really stupid wearing it...but it wasn't uncomfortable for her like the plastic cone was.
Quoted from zr11990:What is the best thing for fleas. My two boys all of a sudden have them. We can’t have that.
We use K9 Advantix every summer. Works great against ticks and fleas.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:We use K9 Advantix

That’s funny shit right there.

Zodiac Powerspot. Great stuff.
No toxins that can harm your pet (Hartz is straight up poison).
Also comes with a very handy applicator.
Quoted from transprtr4u:Try regular showers and soap.... never new you used Advantix , but I guess that would explain the collar when your over at my house!
It's a gel you rub down the length of the spine. The collar is for personal masochistic reasons....totally unrelated.
One of ours passed about 6 months ago due to aggressive cancer at only 5, and she was very attached to my toddler. So I got a puppy to join our Aussie and Catahoula as 3 feels like a full family with 1 attached to each of us. That was 3 weeks ago.
Fastforward to 3 days ago, and a person on nextdoor is "rehoming" an 8 month old black mouth cur that looks very similar to Arya, the one we lost. My wife begged and pleaded, then met the dog and realized she was not being taken care of at all. So we adopted Sansa today. The pic is of her after an hour long bath with dawn and a flea comb. Vet appointment tomorrow. Since the wife is pregs, I guess 4 humans and 4 pups is good math...
Mostly Game of Thrones with Tyrion (the Aussie), Khaleesi (the Catahoula), Sansa (Black Mouth Cur) and Kronos (Olde English Bulldogge).

Heres my girl...
Sounds crazy but this dog has more sophistication and grace than a lot of people
[quoted image][quoted image]
She's a cutie!!!
Quoted from illawarra92:we lost our girl, blaze today. she was 16.
Very sorrow for your loss. I'm sure she had a great life with you.
Quoted from illawarra92:we lost our girl, blaze today. she was 16.[quoted image]
16 is a great age to get to , you obviously looked after her very well .
I can't imagine how you're feeling now , our thoughts are with you .
Quoted from illawarra92:we lost our girl, blaze today. she was 16.[quoted image]
It’s so sad when you lose your dog, never gets easier. Even hearing this makes me sad.
All the best.
Quoted from illawarra92:we lost our girl, blaze today. she was 16.[quoted image]
I am so sorry, that sucks. Hang in there bud...
Quoted from illawarra92:we lost our girl, blaze today. she was 16.[quoted image]
Sorry for your loss. I'm sure those 16 years she was very well taken care of.
