Happy to hear you found him. Little otto once took off chasing a family of roe deer (5x his size) and that was one of the worst hours of my life.

20200912_081116 (resized).jpgDobby has developed a penchant for standing while sitting. He does it on everything: the stairs, one of my feet, his larger toys, etc.
I haven't been able to snap a pic until now since the minute I make any kind of move, he usually moves.
So tonight I tired him out real good in a play session. Once he took this stance (?), he stayed like that to rest.
I availed myself of that golden opportunity!

Yeah, I keep looking at dogs that are available at the local greyhound adoption agency and the wife keeps shooting me down. She says 3 is enough.
I’m not so sure though.

Just goofing off with a dog in vicious killer mode, and suddenly stopping and be like "ok, you can bite my arm off now".
And this vicious killer dog even as excited as he is just gives a light nibble on your hand when you give up.
When playing, a dog sometimes barks, growls, and acts like he wants to eat you alive.
And my friends always laughed at the stuff my last dog did.
My driveway is fairly long, and the UPS truck used to stop here several times a week.
Buddy always jumped in the truck and rode to the end of the driveway, and the driver would say, "ok Buddy, this is as far as I can take you", and Buddy would come running back.
I totally miss not having a dog, I am just not ready yet.
Eventually I will go to the county pen and take custody of one of their inmates.

Here is one of their inmates Princess. Had her for over two years lots of walls to breakdown to get her to trust the family. She had a scary growl, but does it now and not scary at all. She is invested 100% now. I believe I got a great dog. Oh yeah and she loves dog treats, plus fruits, veggies and kale.
So watched the movie’ the art of racing in the rain’ last night w the g friend. Not a bad movie, but gotta admit, left a lump in my throat ..I’d recommend it to all dog lovers..they simply are the best...here’s my boy Sammy, he turns 4 in a few weeks..
