Hangin our in the front courtyard with Hopper having a beer.
He loves laying down on warm concrete after the sun has gone down.
He’s an old retired greyhound.
Basically the grumpy old man of our three dogs, but we have a pretty good mutual understanding.
When I’m up late at night working on pins, he the only one that feels me.

And now I’ve been put on Italian Greyhound puppy detail.
Kids are eating dinner, so since I’m outside already I get to take Lola out to do what she needs to do.
At this stage we keep her on a leash outside since we have coyotes, barn owls and vultures.
She’s a mini, so until she gets a little bit bigger, that’s the deal.

There are no reefs . It's a bit deceiving , it's deeper right near the shore , there was a sandbank a bit further out .

Yeah its absolutely crazy how fast shes grown. Shes above 50 lbs now. I've commented on her muscles too... no idea how that works. I wish I could gain the same muscle tone just by laying around taking naps!
So after two years of searching I finally found the dog I wanted. I wanted an AKC Miniature Pinscher with distinct markings and great posture. I found him from an Amish breeder in Pennsylvania and he has exceeded my expectations. It was costly as I had to pay someone to fly him out because the temps at the airports exceeded 80 degrees at the time. Very kind and loving dog-always wants to cuddle. He also has done well with training so far and is getting along with the other animals in the household. He has become my little buddy!

You can't see it in the pics, but there's a tether in the lower rear that connects to his harness
The seat itself has a set of front straps that anchors it tightly around the forward console and a set of rear straps that anchor it tightly on each side around the driver and passenger seats.

The dog being a senior, has issues with it's back legs so it would have drowned for sure if the driver wasn't there.

So it looks like my plans of holding off after my boxer Hank passed away last year have been circumvented by my daughter (but my wallet).
Meet Brian. And he found a safe sleeping spot.

Awesome looking boxer there. Lovely markings. I’ve lost two that I rescued, so I definitely feel your pain.
He smells like a puppy. Haha. He’s only 9 weeks old, and his coat is still soft as silk. Jessica (my other older boxer) is actually jumping around and playing with him quite a bit, and she’s turning 12 this month.
