Quoted from chuckwurt:

When we took them a couple months ago we couldn’t go in. Now we can, but need to wear masks.

My vet the last two trips has came out in the parking lot and gave Jake his shots. Very convenient because Jake fights me tooth and nail when I try to get him out of the car and Into the vets office. It is a struggle like you would not believe let me tell you.

Quoted from Jaybird815:

We took our dogs to get their shots last week and our vet came out to the parking lot and took them in, Dogs didn’t seem to thrilled about it.

Depending on their history, especially if they came from a shelter. They don't know if they'll ever see you again.

Quoted from RWH:

Bella is beautiful, she looks very comfortable in her new home which says a lot about her family.

Thanks. She's a timid girl, letting her get more comfortable as she explores.

Quoted from Sputnik:

Our neighbor has a blonde Bella also. She comes to our kitchen door every afternoon to get her treat.

Bella just got here yesterday and we're letting her get used to her new home. We're giving her a stern no when we see her chewing something wrong and giving her a training treat when she stops.

Just got back from camp out of cell range and saw 40 new posts. This thread is the best as Ben will attest, well once he wakes up from all that porch guarding...

I took a pic of my doggo and it looks like her eyes are different colors. Very psychedelic!

We're watching our friend's corgi pup for another week again. Luna is pretty excited to have her friend here again. Lila might be a little surprised how big Luna has gotten since the last time she was here, but they're still getting along great.

I assume you know; however, as an FYI, some peanut butters contain Xylitol a sweetener that can be deadly to dogs. As long as you are using something like Peter Pan, Skippy, Jiff, you are fine. Just didn't want someone to see the pic and decide to give their pup some peanut butter without checking the label.

Yes, my guy is a Cane Corso. Brindle as well, but we didn't crop his ears.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with ear and tail docking. The dog looks so tough, but it does kinda bother me.

Thanks for that. Never understood it.

Definitely not a fan of cropped tails either unless it’s medically necessary. Happy tail sores that never heal come to mind.

Yes I am aware... we use unsweetened natural peanut butter... no Xylitol. It’s messy but safe

Nice on the PSA

Here's a good article about peanut butter for your dog for anyone that is interested.

https://www.preventivevet.com/dogs/is-peanut-butter-safe-for-dogs

#2836 3 years ago

Best delivery method for peanut butter is a big glob on half a Club cracker. Then press it firmly on the roof of your dogs mouth. Funniest thing ever watching them lick it off. Tongue repeatedly sticking straight out while keeping their mouth closed. Even after they dislodge the cracker, they just keep licking - and loving it.

Luna is getting big, now 50lbs. She's up to about 6.5 cups a day during this growth stage.

I thought I was ready for drool, but I never really anticipated this. It doesnt bother me, mostly pretty funny to try to watch the whole family dodge it. Nothing but good natured groans when she gets someone or a piece of furniture. I look forward to her slopping up guests.

I'm elated with her temperament. Shes been phenomenal with the kids, and seeks them out for attention. Her relationship with my oldest (6) is really special.

(First pic is from 8 weeks, about 2 months ago)
