    Quoted from Jaybird815:

A roomba would make it about 2’ from its docking station and then be destroyed at my house.

They do better than I thought. If you have hardwood, and clean it out everyday, it’s nice.

    #2402 10 days ago
    Quoted from gliebig:

My dog will let the roomba bounce off of him and change directions. He just completely ignores it.

Same here. He will move some times but others he just lets it work around him.

Little OTTO has attacked both robotic lawnmovers and their dustcleaning inhouse living relatives.

I agree the Roomba does a good job on the hardwood floors. Our dogs Don't pay any attention to it. Beca cat stalks it.

Anyone know the best way to make a boxer stop tearing stuff up? Min tears up everything. Pillows, plants, trash everything

While you’re home? If only when you’re gone maybe it’s best to have it crate trained.

Tons of exercise would be another thing to try. Miles a day for walks and toss lots of ball in the backyard.

As Wayne from Letterkenny would say: "exercise, discipline and affection. In that order."

    But sometimes this still happens
    Tribute destroys pillows

Looks like he threw a party that you were not invited to.

    #2411 8 days ago

I live in a townhouse with a staircase the comes up the center of the house. That was one of the first times we left Tribute out of his crate while we were out of the house. My wife and I get home and get to the top of the staircase and look to our left. Room is looking good. We were both like, 'aww, Tribute, you were such a good bo'...then we turned to look right into the other room.

Those pillows did end up surviving somehow, and fortunately there haven't really been any other incidents.

I’ve gone through this with Max many times. I gave up a couple years ago. He loves his crate and we don’t have to worry about the house when we leave. He’s almost 7 years old too. Some dogs just need a crate imo.

My old dog Palmer was terrified of water when I got him. But he also had terrible separation anxiety. So to break him of his fear of water, I took him to red river gorge and put a river between us. No way to get to me unless he crossed.

He ran up and down the banks on the opposite side trying to find a way across until he just broke down and swam across.

After that, he was obsessed with swimming. He would get into any body of water he could find. Haha

My lab mix was the same way. We didn't even realize it until we moved to a house with a pond. I tossed his ball in there, and he ran along the shore whining. We worked with him. Walked in the water along the coast, gradually getting him more comfortable over time. When he finally realized he loved water, it was probably my favorite moment as a pet owner. It was really rewarding to see him reach his potential (with a ball, anyway) as a water dog.

I'm definitely a fan of big dogs, but pugs are still one of my favorite breeds. We watched my brother's for a year while he was going through some things. That dog gave me a good laugh at least once a day. He once shit in my roommates room for my birthday. To this day, the best gift anyone has ever gotten me.

Thank you! She is actually a Chug (part Chihuahua, part pug), but she looks like a pure pug except she is much smaller and doesn't have the nasal issues of a pug. We LOVE her!

Here is a pic of the cane corso:

Abby Gail loves to get into an open recliner. And uses the arm rest for a pillow.
