Does anyone have a home available for a 3 year old German shepherd. A customer of mom bought a home and the HOA won’t let him keep it. He says he is going to put it down. It is in Houston Texas.

Convince him to surrender the dog to a no kill rescue shelter. They will gladly take the dog in and help find it a new home.

You should start a separate topic for this and more pinsiders will see it. You're not always looking for a pet when you find one.

So he adopted a dog and due to his error can't keep it .... So he wants to kill it. Great guy.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Crime scene. Poor bear...he never had chance.
Nobody does with her!
Hey everyone. I Wanted to share I lost my best friend yesterday. Palmer was a great dog and I’m so lucky I got to spend 13 amazing years with him. He was perfectly healthy 6 months ago and went downhill crazy fast in the past 2 months.
Make sure to give your furry friends extra love!

Agreed. Longest dog I’ve ever had. Had really bad luck with them growing up and never had one live longer than 5-6 years. He was the first dog I got at the end of college and was by my side through countless moves vacations meeting my wife and step daughter etc.
Yesterday was absolutely horrible and I’ll never be the same, but I’m glad he’s not hurting anymore.
Best dog ever.
Quoted from jorge5240:Pick up my puppy Sunday. Her name is Storm.[quoted image]
Weimereiner?
It hurts for sure. My baby is 10 and he is starting to show his age.
Sorry you lost your pooch but I’m sure he had a great life

A terrible loss. I'm sorry.

Sucks about Palmer but he had the best home and medical care that any dog could ever wish for. Erik loves his dogs and takes great care of them. He was a very lucky dog.
Sorry about your loss, @chuckwurt
Ive had dogs my entire life too, and everytime I've had to put one of them down, they've taken a small piece of me with them.
Sorry to hear you lost your buddy Chuck, they are so much a part of our families it's very difficult to let go. Hang in there it'll take time but it will get better.

Very sorry to hear it. Unfortunately, saying goodbye is the price we have to pay to be blessed with their companionship for a few years. Harley turned 12 in January and just this year he is starting to get gray. And it’s coming on quickly. I really have no idea what his life expectancy is since he’s a mutt, so I’ve been giving him extra love lately. Ant that’s on top of the spoilage he and Brittany already receive!

You bet!

Looks great! Couldn’t wait for Christmas?

No, I couldn't. With everything happening as of late I figured it would be a nice boost for the wife. She's also working from home now and will be skyping and using video chat so she's turning the guest room into her new office. I figured this would help spruce things up in her new office.
I plan on getting two more for the dogs we have now.
Thanks again!

Beautiful scenery. Very peaceful.

and ruined their chicken dinner!

The last photo kinda looks a like my old dog, from 20 yrs ago,
Her name was Freckles, (she had lots of freckles/spots on her belly),
a cross between a beagle and queensland heeler.
Tore the head off every stuft animal toy that I bought her.
Loved to eat the oranges from the tree in my back yard, but would only eat them after she brought them inside the house.
Loved people, but was not very good around kids,
as her herding instincts would kick in and she would chase little kids around and nip at their heels.
She was a Good dog, until she freaked and ran away during a thunderstorm, never to be found.
Only photo I could find handy of her.
Looking back now Freckles had more white on her back&body
with big brown and black splotches.
